If you have a GE LogiqBook XP portable ultrasound machine, it's likely that you're not using one of the most common image-optimization functions found on ultrasounds today.
The feature is Tissue Harmonic Imaging. It's advertised in brochures, but there's NO BUTTON on the keyboard to show you how to activate it! It's odd, yes, and I've found nearly ALL users I speak with don't even know it's there.
For those LogiqBook XP users out there, next time you're running the 3C-RS convex abdominal transducer or the 3S-RS sector cardiac/abdominal transducer try this:
Press CTRL and H at the same time and see what happens.
That's it. A useful but hidden feature. EVERY time I've done training on this machine, even with VERY experienced users, they are shocked that this function exists! The Logiq e portable ultrasound has a similar issue. More to come...
